Zelenskyy arrives in Brussels, meets with European Council President Charles Michel
On October 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Brussels for a special meeting of the European Council, where he will present Ukraine's Victory Plan
He wrote about this in Telegram.
“We are now on our way to Brussels. There will be a special meeting of the European Council. At the level of leaders. I will present the Victory Plan - our tool to force Russia to peace. All European leaders will hear how to strengthen our position. We need to end this war fairly,” the president said.
He also announced a series of meetings in the European Parliament - with President Roberta Metsola, heads of political groups and the newly appointed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
In Brussels, Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the European Council Charles Michel. He invited the Ukrainian leader to take part in a meeting of EU leaders.
North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that the next meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council will take place on Thursday, October 17.
