
'Russia will get our response': Zelenskyy on drone attack during meeting with Starmer in Kyiv
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reacted to a Russian drone attack on Kyiv during his meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer

Commenting on the Russian drone attack that occurred during his talks with Starmer in Kyiv, the president said: “We will send greetings in return.”
He added that the attack serves as a reminder of what Ukraine faces daily and emphasized the need for continued support for Ukraine.
Earlier, The Guardian reported that during an air raid alert, a Russian drone was spotted over the Mariinsky Palace in Kyiv, where Zelenskyy and Starmer were meeting.
According to journalists, the Mariinsky Palace, where the leaders were scheduled to hold a press conference, “echoed with loud explosions” as Ukrainian air defense systems worked to shoot down the enemy drone.
The article noted that a flying object—likely a Russian decoy drone—could be seen and heard buzzing over the Mariinsky Palace, near the President’s Office.
