Russian troops shot down their own aircraft over Tokmak

On the night of September 29, Russian air defense in the temporarily occupied Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, successfully destroyed its own aircraft, probably a Su-35

This was reported by Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military and political observer of the Information Resistance group, on Espreso.

"According to this information, last night near Tokmak, a Su-35 multifunctional fighter jet was indeed shot down by Russian air defense systems. Another thing is very interesting here: there is a general friend-or-foe system that helps to recognize whether it is a friendly or enemy aircraft. So, in general, the air defense system that shot it down was most likely an S-300, and the operators had to understand that it was their own aircraft," the expert explains.

According to him, the Su-35 is one of the most expensive aircraft in the Russian Federation, and it is not often used for combat missions, as, for example, the Su-34 frontline bomber.

UK imposed sanctions on those involved in sham elections in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories

On September 29, the UK government imposed new sanctions against Russia over the elections in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. In particular, the list of sanctioned persons was expanded to include the heads of occupation administrations and persons involved in organizing and conducting sham elections.

"In the latest futile attempt to normalize Russia's illegitimate control over sovereign Ukrainian territory, Russia organized illegal sham 'elections' earlier this month. These elections are yet another violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity and the UN Charter. Earlier this month, the UK confirmed to the UN Security Council evidence that the results were pre-determined," the statement says.

In particular, the sanctions list includes Russian Emergency Situations Minister Alexander Kurenkov, Russian CEC Secretary Natalia Budarina, the head of the so-called Kherson Regional State Administration Andriy Aleksiyenko, and the head of the "election commission" in Kherson Marina Zakharova.

A powerful explosion occurred in Berdyansk

A powerful explosion occurred in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk, which caused power outages in the city. This was reported by the head of the Berdyansk City Military Administration Viktoria Halitsyna.

"Residents of Berdyansk report a powerful explosion in the city and unstable power supply afterwards. We advise you to unplug all electrical appliances. The explosion was heard in several districts of Berdyansk. We are clarifying the information and following the news from the AFU General Staff," she wrote on Telegram.

She added that the explosion was heard in several districts of Berdyansk.

SBU drone destroyed radar station in the Kursk region

A Russian Kasta radar station was destroyed by a Ukrainian Security Service drone in the Belovsk district, Kursk region, media reports cite SBU sources.

Kasta-2E2 (39N6) is a Russian mobile three-coordinate radar station of the decimeter range of circular view in the duty mode. It is designed to control airspace, determine the coordinates and recognition of air targets, including at extremely low altitudes, their trajectory characteristics and provide their coordinates and movement parameters to air defense control systems (RTV, ZRV, IA), air force and military air defense, while simultaneously to two consumers via radio channels and/or cable communication line, and to another one via digital-analog communication.

Ukrainian subversive group entered the Bryansk region

Fifty people as part of the Ukrainian subversive group entered the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko.

"A Ukrainian subversive group consisting of about 50 people entered the Bryansk region. Some roads in the Novozybkov district of the region are reportedly blocked. A general call has been issued for law enforcement agencies," he wrote.
