On the morning of September 14, in the temporarily occupied Yevpatoria in Crimea, local residents heard powerful explosions. Later it emerged that the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Navy, conducted a unique special operation and struck the Russian Triumph air defense system.

It is noted that the Russian Triumph air defense system, which was targeted by the SBU and the Navy, costs $1.2 billion.

"At first, the SBU drones hit the "eyes' of the complex - radars and antennas. And after the radar stations were disabled, the Navy units hit the S300/400 Triumph launchers with two Neptune cruise missiles," the statement said.

The press service of the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the enemy missile systems near the temporarily occupied Yevpatoriya were destroyed.

Ukraine returns 11 children from temporarily occupied Kherson region

As of September 14, 112 children have been returned from the Russian-occupied territory of Kherson region since the beginning of this year. This is reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

"They were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine from the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region," the statement reads.

Of the 11 children, only two are deprived of parental care. The other nine have parents. The youngest of them is a three-year-old girl.

It is reported that the return was preceded by the hard work of the Save Ukraine organization, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Ministry of Reintegration, the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, guardianship and custody authorities, and child services.

Invictus Games 2023: Ukrainians win 25 medals in 4 days of competition

As a result of four days of competition at the Invictus Games 2023 in Düsseldorf, the national team of Ukraine won 7 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze medals.

"The Invictus won gold medals in such sports as shot put, rowing on simulators for four and one minutes, 100 m freestyle and 50 m backstroke. Silver - for discus throwing, long jump, powerlifting, rowing on simulators for four and one minutes among women, swimming. Bronze - for results in athletics (100-meter run), discus throw, swimming (50 m breaststroke, 50 m freestyle, 50 m backstroke)," the statement said. 

As a result, on the fourth day of the competition, the Ukrainian team won 8 medals: two gold, and three silver and bronze medals each.

Ukrainian pilots test Swedish JAS Gripen fighter jets

This was reported by Sveriges Radio, citing a written statement from the country's Defense Minister Paul Johnson.

"The introductory training has been completed, and according to the report I received from the armed forces, the training went well," the minister said.

The training reportedly includes test flights on aircraft and simulators, as well as training for ground personnel.

"As we have said before, we do not rule out sending the Gripen to Ukraine. The experience of the training should now form the basis of ongoing work to clarify the conditions for this," added Johnson.

Sweden has up to a hundred Gripen fighters in its fleet.

United States imposes new large-scale sanctions against Russia

The US Treasury Department clarifies that in addition to Russian companies, businesses from Belgium, the UAE, Slovenia, Turkey, and the Central African Republic are also subject to sanctions. In total, almost 150 legal entities have been subjected to US restrictions.

The US also imposed sanctions on two floating storage tankers sailing under the flag of Panama.

Ukrainian aviation carries out 10 strikes against Russian enemy

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian weapons and military equipment.

The missile troops struck one control center, two anti-aircraft missile systems, five artillery pieces and an ammunition depot of the Russian enemy.
