The European Parliament recognized the Holodomor as genocide

On December 15, the European Parliament voted for a resolution recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of Ukrainians. The resolution was supported by 507 members of the European Parliament, 12 voted against.

"The European Parliament recognizes the Holodomor, the artificial famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine, which was caused by the deliberate actions of the Soviet regime, genocide against the people of Ukraine; it strongly condemns such actions of the totalitarian Soviet regime, which led to the death of millions of Ukrainians and significantly undermined the foundations of Ukrainian society," says the text of the resolution.

In the temporarily occupied Kadiivka in Luhansk region, explosions were reported at night.  According to Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the location of the  Russian army personnel was hit. Meanwhile, the Strategic Committee of the Armed Forces of the Ukraine reports that ammunition was hit in the warehouse, which detonated almost all night.

 "During the offensive, the defense forces advanced up to 1.5 km in the area of ​​the settlement of Dibrova," said Oleksiy Hromov, deputy chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.The village of Dibrova belongs to the Lyman community of the Donetsk region.

Ukraine received $4.5 from the UN

 "This year, the UN provided more than $4.5 billion in humanitarian aid to Ukrainians. We appreciate this support and hope that this amount will only increase next year," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

Germany handed over another batch of ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

According to the updated list of military aid provided by Germany to Ukraine, during the last week Germany transferred missiles to the IRIS-T air defense system, two Bergepanzer 2 armored personnel carriers, 30,000 shells for 40-mm grenade launchers, five thousand 155-mm artillery ammunition, four ambulances and 18 8X8 trucks.

The occupiers suffer heavy losses - dead, and the wounded are taken to Crimea

The General Staff said that hospitals and morgues in the temporarily occupied territories are full, so the Russians are forced to transport killed and wounded to Crimea. In order to replenish the current losses, the invaders are forced to supplement the command line of the troops with retired officers, including the ones released to the reserve. The General Staff notes that they are being sent to areas of hostilities
