Residents of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions are better able to move to safer regions due to a possible escalation of the war

This is stated in the release of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

"The heads of the military administrations of the Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions are asking the population to leave the borders of the regions and are doing everything to ensure that the evacuation takes place in an organized manner. This is needed now, because then people will be under fire and the threat of death", said Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Reintegration temporarily  territories Irina Vereshchuk. "They won’t be able to do anything against it, and we won’t be able to help. Because it will be almost impossible to stop the fire. We need to evacuate while there is such an opportunity. While it is still there", the minister emphasized.

However, subsequently the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, clarified that so far we are not talking about the evacuation of residents of the entire Kharkiv region.

"Today, we do not carry out centralized evacuation measures specifically in Kharkiv. We inform about the situation daily. In case of changes, we will definitely inform you! As for the Izyum direction: the Regional Military Administration, with the consent of the Armed Forces, does recommend the evacuation of the population in Barvinkove and Lozova. Trains run through the settlements, follow the schedule announced by local authorities", he said.
