This was reported by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
"While the resumption of exports from Ukraine's Black Sea ports is a positive step in meeting the needs of countries with unstable food security, these supplies must continue so that millions of tons of food can reach markets and help feed the world's most vulnerable", he said.
The funds will go to support the purchase, transportation, and storage of up to 150 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat to solve the problem of acute food security.
It is assumed that the grain will be received by the inhabitants of the countries of the Somali Peninsula, where a historic drought is prevailing, which is pushing millions of people to the brink of starvation.
