US provides Ukraine with Skydio drones to document Russia’s war crimes
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has sent drones with a Skydio camera to document war crimes in Ukraine
This is stated on the USAID website.
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine will receive nine autonomous drones donated by Skydio.
“The Skydio 2+ drones have 4K cameras that will be used to take photo and video content to document war crimes. These will aid the Office of the Prosecutor General to document the more than 115,000 instances of destroyed civilian infrastructure, and evidence of human rights abuses on frontline communities and liberated territories,” the agency explains.
It is also reported that two Ukrainian human rights coalitions with the support of USAID have documented more than 40 thousand cases of Russian war crimes since the beginning of the full-scale war.
USAID previously donated Starlink, laptops and software for Ukrainian schoolchildren.

The U.S. government, through the USAID AGRO program, has promised to provide mineral fertilizers to Ukrainian agricultural producers for the fall sowing campaign. A total of 12 tons of fertilizer will be distributed.

On July 19, it became known that USAID had promised to provide Ukraine with $230 million to support the economy and business. USAID Administrator Samantha Power also announced the allocation of more than $500 million in additional humanitarian aid for the needs of Ukrainians affected by Russia's full-scale invasion.
