DW reported the figures.
According to the USAID head (United States Agency for International Development) Samantha Power, Ukraine is forced to spend USR 5-6 billion a month.
"The average monthly spending of the government that has to deal with the war, according to the latest estimates, is about USD 5-6 billion a month," Power said.
She added that this is a staggering expense, and even the USD 7.5 billion that the US administration is preparing to allocate to help Ukraine will not be enough to cover all needs.
"We know that this money will not be enough, we know that even more direct budget support will be needed in the future," Power said.
