US bans Russian gold imports, imposes new sanctions against companies, individuals
On June 28, the United States has expanded sanctions against Russia: they include a ban on gold imports and new sanctions against 70 legal entities and 29 individuals.

The import of Russian gold into the United States is immediately prohibited, except for permits issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control or in cases provided by law.
The sanctions apply to 29 companies closely linked to Russia's defense sector. These are, in particular, Rostech Corporation, which is engaged in development in the defense, aviation and transport industries, United Aircraft Building Company, Tupolev, KAPO-Avtotrans, KAPO-Zhilbitservice, Irkut Corporation, KamAZ etc.
The companies and organizations involved in the invasion of Ukraine, the Union of Donbass Volunteers and 16 of its members, including Oleksandr Borodai, the Chkalov State Flight Test Center, the private military company RSB Group, and its director is Oleg Krinitsyn.
The sanctions list also included seven members of the L/DPR terrorist organization: the new 'head of the DPR government' Vitaliy Khotsenko, his predecessor Oleksandr Ananchenko, 'deputies' Tetyana Pereverzeva, Volodymyr Antonov, Volodymyr Yezhikov, Yuri Gotvin, and Anna Todorova.
The sanctions include a freeze on assets and property in the United States, as well as a ban on financial transactions.
