The politicians discussed ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian, economic, political, and security assistance, as well as the importance of international solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
"Biden and Scholz reiterated their commitment to impose costs on Russia for its aggression for as long as necessary," the US presidential administration said.
In addition, the American and German leaders exchanged views on other global issues and reaffirmed their "strong bilateral relationship."
On March 3, during a meeting at the White House with Scholz, Biden emphasized that Berlin and Washington are “hand in glove” in providing military support to Ukraine.
