US adds 71 Russian, Belarusian companies to trade blacklist
The United States has added 71 Russian and Belarusian companies to its blacklist in response to Russia's war against Ukraine.

Export restrictions are among a raft of new sanctions measurea imposed by Washington in response to Russia's war against Ukraine, including restrictions on Russian oligarchs and members of the country's elite.
Export restrictions, in particular, apply to one Belarusian company, Eleron, and 70 Russian companies and other entities, such as several divisions of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Including the Institute of Information Transfer Problems named after AA Kharkevich.
The blacklist now also includes the aviation complex named after S.V. Ilyushin, Yakovlev Research and Design Bureau, Main Department for Deepwater Research at the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Chemical Engineering Design Bureau, Sapsan Research and Production Center, All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics, part of Rosatom, and others.
Sanctions were also imposed against the Voronezh Joint-Stock Aircraft Company. It is one of the largest plants in Russia producing passenger and cargo aircraft.
