Up to 2,000 mobilized soldiers arrive in occupied Kherson region, Russian forces announce evacuation - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on Facebook. 

Up to 2,000 mobilized Russian soldiers arrived in the temporarily occupied territory to replenish losses and strengthen units on the frontline.

At the same time, the occupation "authority" issued an "order" to prepare for the evacuation of the so-called banking institutions. In addition, the invading Russian forces prepared evacuation lists of doctors and teachers brought from the Russian Federation. In Kherson, facilities of the humanitarian sector stop working.

• On October 18, collaborators and Russian forces announced the relicatior of the civilian population of the occupied Kherson region to the left bank of the Dnipro River. 

• On October 19, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, warned that the Russian forces were preparing provocations with the shelling of Kherson.

• Volodymyr Saldo, the head of the occupying "power" of the Kherson region, said that all units of the "administration" of the Kherson region are moving to the left bank of the Dnipro River. 

• The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, warned civilians against "evacuation" to Russia, because amid the Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes, the Russian forces want to take Ukrainians hostage and cover themselves with the human shields.
