This is reported by Krym.Realii with reference to the local edition ForPost.
According to her, the ship was discovered in mid-December after a severe storm on the Crimean peninsula on November 26-27 changed the underwater landscape in the coastal zone of Sevastopol.
"I just dove in to see what might be interesting at the bottom, and then after a while I realized that it wasn't a stone, but something man-made," she said.
According to the publication, the metal construction of the hull indicates its relative modernity. However, it was not possible to see any identifying marks that could reveal the ship's history.
- On the evening of November 26, 2023, a powerful storm broke out on the coast of the Russian-occupied Ukrainian Crimean peninsula. Half a million people were left without electricity.
