Uniper: no longer receiving Russian gas
On September 5, Germany's largest natural gas importer, Uniper, announced the termination of supplies from Russia
This was reported by Reuters.
The company also added that tranches from the credit line provided by the German state bank Credit Institution for Reconstruction will be used to solve the problem of gas shortages.
Uniper is known to serve more than 100 municipal utilities and industrial enterprises in Germany, Europe's largest economy. As of August, the company suffered losses in the amount of more than EUR 12 billion for the first half of the year - most of them are related to the gas crisis due to the Russian Federation.
