UN Secretary-General sends Putin letter with proposals for grain deal

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres handed over letters to Lavrov for Putin, which refer to further actions on the grain deal

This was reported by the press service of the Secretary-General.

The press service said that Guterres, while handing over the letter, expressed concern to Lavrov about the obstacles that the Joint Coordination Center has recently faced in its daily activities.

Guterres also handed him a letter addressed to Putin, which outlined proposals for further actions aimed at improving and expanding the "grain deal" in line with "the positions recently expressed by the parties and the risks posed by global food insecurity."
