UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned in the strongest terms Russia's large-scale missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, civilians and critical infrastructure

This was announced by the Secretary-General's spokesman Stephane Dujarric in a statement.
"The Secretary-General condemns in the strongest terms the overnight large-scale missile and drone attack by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian cities and towns across the country, including against civilian and critical infrastructure," the statement reads.
The Secretary-General also pointed to the deaths and injuries of many civilians.
- On the night of December 29, Russia launched several groups of Shahed drones that attacked Ukraine, and in the morning, terrorists launched missiles. They hit high-rise buildings, educational institutions, a shopping center, and a maternity hospital.
- Due to another massive Russian attack, on December 29, Ukraine, along with 30 other countries, requested an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
- During the meeting, the US representative said that Russia was misleading the UN Security Council by preparing a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine.
