UN forgets why organization was founded

The West continues to discuss secret talks between UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Lavrov

During these talks, the UN Secretary-General agrees to Russian conditions - that is, to partially lift sanctions - in exchange for the renewal of the grain deal.

The UN has simply forgotten why their organization was founded, namely, that its goal was to strengthen security in the world. The creation of the UN in 1945 was a reaction to the horrors of World War II and to the inept policies of the League of Nations, the predecessor of the UN, which failed to stop World War II.

“International security has always been the main goal of the UN. But its current chief bureaucrat has decided that he can deal with everything - including grain for poor countries. At the same time, he is making concessions to a dictator who violates the very international security for which the organization was created!”

Because they really want to be good for everyone - for numerous poor countries, and for outright dictators who frighten the world with a nuclear catastrophe.

Although the main body of the United Nations, let me remind you, is called the UN Security Council, not the UN Grain Council.

The United Nations has long been in need of reform. First and foremost, the UN Security Council needs to be changed, Russia should be deprived of its veto power. This is what the efforts of UN bureaucrats, Ukrainian diplomats, the West, and the global South should be directed at. If, of course, they all sincerely want to make the world safer.
