Ukrainians from over 30 countries launch global campaign to honor Ukraine's Independence Day

The Communities Army of Ukraine has organized a worldwide campaign aimed at showing solidarity with Ukraine and commemorating its Independence Day

The organization made this announcement through a press release.

From August 23 to August 28, citizens of Ukraine in over 80 cities across 32 countries will participate in demonstrations under the banner of #IndependenceInMyHeart, dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day.

“Right now, Ukrainians are paying a very high price for their independence and freedom: they are giving their lives for it in the war with the Russian aggressor. At the same time, the Ukrainian people celebrate the Independence Day of their Motherland on August 24, proving not only on the battlefield, but also in this way their strength, indomitability, fortitude and readiness to fight for their independence to the end,” the press-release states.

The organizers emphasize that Ukraine's struggle against the Russian aggressor goes beyond its own sovereignty; it encompasses the independence and prosperity of all civilized nations.

“Ukraine is grateful to international partners for their support and assistance (in particular military) and for choosing the side of the light!” the statement adds.

Participants intend to march in traditional attire, carrying Ukrainian symbols and flags, and incorporating the artwork of renowned Ukrainian artist Andriy Yermolenko.
