Ukrainians are eager to learn new skills as soon as possible, Zelenskyy says as he visits British military base
During a visit to the United Kingdom, Zelenskyy watched the training of Ukrainian servicemen at a British military base

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak visited the Bovington Camp military base. Ukrainian military personnel are being trained there, in particular, crews are learning on the British Challenger main battle tank and other armoured vehicles. Zelenskyy was shown the practical elements of the training course and talked to the military and the base command.
"Our servicemen are eager to learn new skills as soon as possible in order to return home and use everything they have learned to liberate our territory. I see that they have everything they need for this, including powerful tanks. Exactly the kind we need. And we are doing everything to ensure that they appear on the battlefield as quickly as possible," the President of Ukraine said.
In addition, during his visit to the military base, Zelenskyy presented Ukrainian servicemen with state awards. Tankers, paratroopers and mechanics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were awarded the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of III degree, and the Orders For Courage of III degree, as well as medals for military service to Ukraine.
