Ukrainian troops discover Russian cache with modernized ammunition for Grad missile system
Ukrainian defenders have found a Russian cache with modernized 9M22U shells for the Grad anti-aircraft missile system.
The Strategic Committee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports in Telegram.
"Ukrainian military found another Russian "Lend-Lease" as a result of successful operations. The marking 9M22U means that these are missiles for Grad rocket launchers (multiple missile systems, - ed.)," the Ukrainian military emphasized.
Ukrainian Armed Forces noted that the 9M22U is a modernized version of the 9M22 high-explosive missile. The full volley is 40 missiles, which leads to the detonation of 256 kg of explosives and the ejection of about 156,800 fragments of various masses.
