Ukrainian troops destroy Russian Ka-52 helicopter on eastern front
Ukrainian Armed Forces downed a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter in eastern Ukraine on February 15

"Today, Ukrainian defenders destroyed an enemy Ka-52 attack and reconnaissance helicopter on the eastern front. Glory to Ukraine and its soldiers," the statement reads.
The Kamov Ka-52 Alligator (NATO Designation Hokum-B) is a Russian combat helicopter, which has a battlefield management system. It can exchange data with similar helicopters or other helicopter types, as well as third party sources. This helicopter is also intended as an aerial command post for a group of helicopters. It provides target detection and coordinates the attacks. It is capable of targeting armored and unarmored vehicles, manpower and air targets on the battlefield.
