Ukrainian soldiers with the 80th Division from Lviv destroy Russian armored vehicles and manpower

The Command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states, "Espreso.West" reports.

"Every day, units of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine advance and clear Ukraine from Russian invaders. In particular, the soldiers of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed many enemy forces along with armored vehicles recently," the message says.

According to the fighters of the 80th Division, not to mention the evacuation of the killed, the occupiers leave their wounded without any chance of rescue.

Later, Lviv paratroopers on their Facebook page added that in the course of heavy fighting, they managed to capture one of the key strongholds of the occupiers. Also, the Ukrainian military destroyed 4 tanks, 3 BMPs and dozens of invaders in the last 24 hours. 40 bodies of Russian occupiers remained on the battlefield.

Additional information: the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Division is a military unit within the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the spring of 2014, it was among the first to be raised to repel Russian aggression, the units were sent to the northeastern borders of Ukraine.  Servicemen of the division took part in the first battle of the war in Donbass on April 13, 2014 near Semenivka, later they took part in battles for Slovyansk. Since 2016, the Division has been reformed into an Amphibious Assault Division and received a tank unit.
