Ukrainian soldiers showcase destruction of Russian tank
On March 10, units of Ukraine's State Border Service and the Armed Forces jointly destroyed a Russian tank in the Luhansk region
This was reported on the website of Ukraine's State Border Service.
“Aerial reconnaissance servicemen of the Luhansk border guard detachment detected enemy armored vehicles moving to fire at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Border guards requested artillery fire from one of the Armed Forces' mechanized brigades in real time. An accurate artillery strike destroyed the enemy vehicles,” the statement says.
The press service of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service clarified on its Telegram channel that the Russian tank's turret was torn off as a result of a hit.
“A Russian tank's turret was blown off by the joint work of the aerial reconnaissance and the Armed Forces' artillery,” the border guards elaborated.
Ukraine's State Border Service noted that thanks to the use of the latest technology, border guards have already destroyed dozens of Russian armored vehicles.
“The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is constantly implementing innovative approaches to countering external aggression, in particular, UAV operators, either independently or in cooperation with artillery or other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, have turned more than a dozen Russian armored vehicles into scrap metal,” the statement said.
