Ukrainian soldiers destroy Russian Su-25 aircraft near Bakhmut

It is reported by The National Guard of Ukraine.

"The enemy's aviation is actively using armored subsonic attack aircraft to destroy ground targets and strike Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas," the press service stated.

Yesterday, on February 2, at 11:55 a.m. in the southeastern outskirts of Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers spotted two Russian Su-25 aircraft at a 3 km distance.

Enemy targets were hit by a Ukrainian MANPADS Igla-1. One of them was destroyed. 

"As a result of the combat work of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division fire group of the 3rd operational assignment brigade in the Bakhmut area, the occupying Russian troops are partially losing their combat capability and air superiority. During the last week, a Mi-24 helicopter and a Su-25 aircraft were destroyed," it was emphasized.
