Ukrainian security service identifies all collaborators and traitors from the occupying "Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs" in the Kherson region

Ukrainian Security Service made the statement.

The security service intensified counter-intelligence measures on the southern front and established the identities of all collaborators and traitors who joined the "main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kherson region" created by the Russian occupiers.

We are talking about a pseudo-formation which - through mass repressions, persecutions and illegal detentions - fulfills the task of suppressing resistance and intimidating residents of the temporarily occupied regions of Southern Ukraine. For this, in particular, the occupiers also resumed the activities of the Berkut regional militsia unit. The facts of abduction and torture of people have been recorded. Victims are subjected to psychological pressure, violence and death threats.

The USS  also emphasizes that collaborators under the leadership of the Russian special services try to select and recruit like-minded people, who are offered to join the groups of the occupying "headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs". They are looking for such people through personal connections, in particular, among former law enforcement officers.

Currently, the USS has not only collected all the identifying data on each collaborator, but also documented his criminal activities, found out the place of stay and movement routes. 26 representatives of the "regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" who are hiding in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Region have already received notification of suspicion. 14 of them are former employees of the National Police.
