The victory was reported by SPORT.UA.

Bondarev had a strong start, holding his position off the line, though he briefly lost it shortly after. Following a safety car period and race restart, he maintained his place and continued to pressure the leader, Japan’s Nakamura-Berta, who later received a warning for exceeding track limits.

Ten minutes before the finish, the safety car returned to the track and stayed out for three minutes. After the second restart, Oleksandr Bondarev once again demonstrated his skill, holding his position and continuing to pressure his rival.

With just three minutes remaining, Bondarev made a decisive move, overtaking the leader and regaining first place — a position he held until the checkered flag. He also secured first place in the rookie standings.

Before Bondarev, the only Ukrainian to win a Formula 4 race was Ivan Peklin, who triumphed in the French championship at the Magny-Cours round in 2019.
