Zelenskyy thanked the military for their work and heroism and presented them with state awards.
In particular, the president conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine and awarded the "Golden Star" order to the commander of the tank battalion, Oleg Grudzevych, who took part in combat operations in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk region.
Under the leadership of Grudzevych, the unit successfully made a breakthrough from uncontrolled territory. During the movement, the Ukrainian military discovered and destroyed a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Russian invaders in the area of the village of Znamenivka in Donetsk region.
