Ukrainian Police records more than 45,000 crimes committed by Russian forces
National Police investigators opened more than 45,000 criminal proceedings for crimes committed during Russian full-scale invasion.
Ministry of Internal Affairs reports on its website.
Press service reports that since February 24, a total of 45,741 criminal proceedings have been opened on the facts of crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine by military personnel of Russian Armed Forces and their accomplices.

34 397 proceedings were initiated for violation of the laws and customs of war;

9083 – for encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine;

2078 – for collaborative activities;
-
98 – for treason;
-
37 – for sabotage.
Ministry of Internal Affairs also informs about crimes against children, in particular, since the beginning of Russian full-scale invasion. 440 children died due to Russian aggression, 851 children were injured. Another 329 are missing. Also, 12,034 children were deported to Russia, 119 were returned.
Investigators discovered 48 places where Russians illegally detained and tortured citizens in the now de-occupied territories. There are still 46 criminal proceedings opened on the facts of sexual violence committed by Russian military.
