President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his evening appeal, Espresso.TV reports.
"Today and tomorrow, discussions continue about the future of Ukraine in the EU. I believe that our people, our state, our army have already done everything to make us want to be seen there. Among relatives. To be invited there. This is the final exam for Europe. Among leaders of states, there are those who support us, and there are those who support only themselves", the head of state said.
But we see how the people of all European countries treat us, and this is the main thing.
"I know for sure that if it was people who decided on our membership in the EU, they would definitely elect the people of Ukraine. Today, when I see the support of every person in Europe on the squares of the capitals, I know that the Ukrainian people are already in the European Union. Well, politicians, I'm sure they will adapt. Preferably faster. Glory to the people of Europe! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to our military", Volodymyr Zelensky summed up.
