He shared the information in an interview with Liga.net.

"The mobilization plan, which was announced since the implementation of the presidential decree on martial law by the parliament, has not even been completed yet," the minister said.

When asked what principle is used to select candidates for mobilization, Reznikov said that the General Staff has a need for certain personnel.

"The General Staff has certain needs. It clearly knows the required number of drivers, riflemen, operators, artillerymen, snipers. The General Staff defines the tasks of military commissars: the plan and categories of specialists," he said.

According to him, the Ministry of Defense controls the process and dreams of digitizing the paperwork.

"The Ministry of Defense only exercises control and dreams of turning the paper mess into a digitalized product. We have this product, it has been developed. We just did not have time to fully implement it. This will be one of Vitaliy Deynega's challenges," Reznikov said.

Leadership issues in the army are particularly important, the minister emphasizes.

"The allies offer leadership courses for junior commanders, middle commanders and sergeants. After all, sergeants are the backbone of the army. For almost 30 years we have lived in the paradigm that no one will attack us. And for many universities, the military department was a formality," Reznikov summarized.
