Ukrainian military shoots down a Russian K-52 Alligator helicopter

The K-52 is a Russian reconnaissance attack helicopter designed to engage armored vehicles, manpower, and air targets on the battlefield. It is also called "Alligator". This is one of the most modern helicopters in service with the Russian army. The cost of one helicopter is estimated at about USD 16 million. 

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shot down more than two dozen K-52 helicopters.
