Ukrainian military liquidate Wagner PMC deputy chief of staff

Special unit Hort reported the news on its Facebook page.

"In the course of a combat mission, fighters of our special unit clashed with a group of fighters of the notorious Wagner PMC, founded by Putin’s close ally Yevgeniy Prigozhin, in close combat.

The entire enemy party was killed in combat contact. The deputy chief of staff was identified among the killed Wagner fighters," the message states.

The unit also “trophied” the weapon of the liquidated deputy chief – AK-12 assault rifle. Hort noted that the AK-12 was adopted by the Russian army for military use in 2018.

Wagner PMC is known for recruiting Russian prisoners to participate in the war against Ukraine.
