Ukrainian military destroy Russian Mi-24 helicopter and 6 drones over day – General Staff
Over the past day, the Ukrainian forces carried out 17 strikes on the areas of occupiers' concentration, as well as destroyed a Russian Mi-24 helicopter and 6 various UAVs
This was stated in the General Staff's report.
At the same time, missile and artillery units hit 2 control points, 4 Russian troops’ concentration areas, 2 anti-aircraft missile systems, an ammunition depot, an artillery unit at a firing position and 2 electronic warfare stations.
Over the past day, Russia conducted 50 air and 11 missile strikes on Ukrainian troops' positions
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian Federation conducted 50 air and 11 missile strikes, and launched 75 MLRS attacks that targeted civilian infrastructure and Ukrainian Defense Forces, civilians were killed," the statement reads.
The Russian army is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensives in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka and Vuhledar directions. Ukrainian defenders repelled 59 attacks in these areas.
The northern and northeastern Ukrainian borders with Belarus and Russia: the occupying forces attacked one settlement in Chernihiv region; 7 in Sumy region, and 10 in Kharkiv region.
Kupiansk and Lyman directions: the Russian army fired artillery in the areas of 7 settlements in Kharkiv region; 4 in Luhansk region, and 2 in Donetsk region.
Bakhmut direction: 12 localities were shelled by the Russian army.
Avdiivka, Mariinka and Vuhledar directions: 12 localities in Donetsk region came under hostile fire.
Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: Russia shelled 13 localities in Zaporizhzhia and 6 in Kherson region as well as the city of Kherson itself.

It is reported that in Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, the occupying Russian forces arrange "excursions" for high school children to Volgodonsk, to the Rostov Nuclear Power Plant.
The occupying Russian forces continue to exert pressure on the local population in the temporarily occupied territories.
"Recently, on March 22, soldiers of the Russian National Guard conducted a raid in Chaplinka settlement (Kherson Oblast). During the home searches special attention was paid to citizens' personal documents, vehicles and mobile phones," the report says.
