Ukrainian intelligence warns Russia may stage false flag operations on May 9
Russian special services may be preparing a false flag operation against the civilian population of Russia and Belarus on May 9
Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence, stated this, as reported by GUR on Telegram.
Yusov explained that the occupiers have been using this type of provocation since 2014, and it is possible that we will face it now: “Russian special services may direct provocations against the Russian civilian population, and it could be timed to certain dates, such as May 9.”
He also suggested that the Russians could use a "false flag operation" to involve the Belarusian army in the war against Ukraine by directing provocations against Belarus.
Yusov remarked that “no one, neither in Ukraine nor anywhere else in the world, will believe in such performances anymore. Nevertheless, it does not imply that there will be no provocations.”
