Ukrainian servicemen destroyed the 1K148 Yastreb-AV artillery reconnaissance complex using HIMARS.
"While conducting reconnaissance in the southern direction, the crew of the UAV of the 73rd Maritime Center of the Special Forces discovered the 1K148 Yastreb-AV artillery reconnaissance system. The Special Operations Forces operators, together with a friendly unit of the 140th Separate Mechanized Brigade, adjusted HIMARS fire at the enemy target. As a result of the fire damage, the enemy's Yastreb-AV system was destroyed," the statement said.

Yastreb-AV is a state-of-the-art Russian radar system used to reconnoiter artillery firing positions.
With the help of radar, it is able to track the trajectory of enemy missiles and calculate the exact coordinates of the positions of its artillery. This data is transmitted to hit the positions.
