Ukrainian Foreign Ministry explains why Russia is spreading fake news about the theft of Western weapons in Ukraine

He said this on Twitter. 

"While our partners are promising to increase military aid and Russian forces are suffering more casualties, Russia is spreading fake news about the misuse of weapons provided to Ukraine. Don't be fooled. They are doing this to disrupt the supply of weapons that play a crucial role in the liberation of Ukrainian territory", he wrote.

Earlier, the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council emphasized that Russian propaganda is trying to discredit the leadership of Ukraine by spreading fake news about Ukraine's sale of Western equipment. Provocations on the territory of Europe with the use of weapons transferred to Ukraine are also possible for this purpose.
