Ukrainian forces repel 4 attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk region — General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

Ukraine's missile forces strike at Russia’s communication center

They launched an air strike near a settlement in the Sumy region. Over 20 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Kupyansk direction, Russian troops carried out air strikes near 2 settlements in the Kharkiv region. Over 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks east of Makiivka, Luhansk region. Russian troops launched air strikes near 2 settlements. Over 10 settlements suffered from Russian artillery and mortar attacks.

In Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces were successful east of Andriivka, Donetsk region. Russian troops unsuccessfully tried to regain lost ground east of Diliivka, Donetsk region. They carried out air strikes near 2 settlements in the Donetsk region. Over 15 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Avdiivka direction, Russian troops tried to regain lost ground near Avdiivka, Donetsk region, but were unsuccessful. In addition, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks near the settlements of Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka and Pervomaisk, Donetsk region. Russian troops launched 11 unsuccessful attacks near Marinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region.

In Marinka direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled over 10 attacks near Marinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, over the last day. Russian troops carried out air strikes near 3 settlements. About 10 settlements were under Russian fire.

In Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks near 2 settlements in the Donetsk region. Russian troops launched air strikes near Urozhayne and Staromayorske in the Donetsk region. Over 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled attacks southeast of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. Russian troops launched air strikes near 2 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 20 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In Kherson direction, Russian troops conducted air strikes near 4 settlements in the Kherson region. Over 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting Russian troops.
