"The Russian advance is almost nonexistent, although the occupiers continue to make isolated attempts. Moreover, there are areas where the Ukrainian Defense Forces have managed to reclaim positions. By launching counterattacks whenever possible, we strive to regain more advantageous positions. This is happening actively and effectively," Tsekhotskyi emphasized.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer, the Ukrainian troops are exhausting Russian troopss in the Pokrovsk direction by using all available forces and means.

"Yesterday, the Russians attempted to use armored vehicles - tanks and IFVs - for an assault, but all these attempts were successfully repelled. Every day, between 300 and 400 occupiers are killed in this direction, sometimes even more. This is a key direction for Putin, and he seeks to achieve certain results there to secure positions. However, he is currently failing, and we are doing everything to prevent it," Tsekhotskyi added.

• Since the beginning of the day, March 31, 175 combat clashes have taken place between the two armies at the front. Russian troops are storming the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 12 directions.
