Ukrainian forces neutralize Russian positions without large-scale counteroffensive - military expert
Military expert Mykhailo Prytula has said that Ukrainian Armed Forces shouldn't launch a large-scale counteroffensive, as this could lead to heavy losses among the Ukrainian military.
He expressed his opinion with Espreso.
"We expect the Ukrainian Armed Forces to launch a large-scale counteroffensive along the entire frontline. The Ukrainian military will launch active offensive operations on all 1,150 km. It's just a giant frontline, and on this frontline the Ukrainian Armed Forces are neutralizing the enemy positions they hold. It's not clear whether there will be an offensive along the entire frontline and I hope there won't be any. Because it can lead to large losses among the Ukrainian military," Prytula explained.
Ukraine should do everything for Russia to be exhausted and lose its forces, so it's not Ukraine in its place.
"We need to do everything to make the enemy lose its forces, not the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Therefore, Russian forces are now being gradually neutralized with the help of modern weapons we already have. These are heavy howitzers, kamikaze drones and other modern weapons. Only when the enemy is neutralized in the first positions, can you go for a sweep," added Prytula.
