Ukrainian forces neutralize 59 Russian soldiers in south, three ammunition depots and TOR M1 anti-aircraft missile system
Ukrainian Armed Forces have neutralized three Russian ammunition depots, large amounts of equipment, and 59 soldiers in the southern direction. However, Russia is trying to improve its position.
Operational Command South (OC South) shared the update.
On June 5, Russia fired Ka-52 helicopters at Ukrainian positions. In response, Ukrainian aircraft inflicted 3 defeats on Russian units.
Ukrainian missile and artillery units destroyed 59 Russian soldiers, a tank and 6 other armored vehicles, a TOR M1 anti-aircraft missile system, a multiple rocket launcher, a Carnation self-propelled howitzer, 5 vehicles. Also, 3 Russian field ammunition depots were neutralized in different settlements of Kherson region.
The Russian occupation authorities in the Kherson region are taking away private business from local entrepreneurs.
"In particular, the Russian forces want to appropriate regional gas stations to sell fuel imported from the Crimea," the statement said.
Russia continues to shell settlements in the Mykolaiv region along the contact line and in the rear of Ukrainian units, trying to create the illusion of their dominance in the maximum possible part of the region.
Russia tries to improve its position, but without success, strengthens on the defensive lines.
In the Black Sea, a Russian ship group is being reformatted once again. Currently, one surface ship and one submarine equipped with 12 cruise missiles are ready to launch missile strikes from the sea. Also, 5 large landing ships are ready for action, OC South reports.
"A ban on visiting the coast, which is currently not a place of rest but a potential line of defense, warnings about the danger of swimming in the sea due to the threat of detonation of sea mines, are as important as air alarms and should not be ignored in order to save life," OC South added.
