Ukrainian forces explain what complicates work of Russian aircraft
The spokesperson of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Captain 1st Rank Natalia Humeniuk, said that the Armed Forces are trying to make the most of the weather conditions in their favor
She said this on the air on the Espreso TV channel.
"We are trying to make the most of the weather conditions. That is, a storm warning at sea means that the enemy's naval group will not only be trapped by the Defense Forces in the area that the Russian forces have designated as a security zone, but will also have no chance to jump out of it. Such weather is not favorable for enemy aircraft activity over the Black Sea," emphasized Humeniuk.
According to the spokesperson, powerful storm winds along the Dnipro River complicate the work of Russian aircraft, as well as enemy reconnaissance and attack UAVs.
"If we analyze the Russian strike operation, a drone attack, conducted at night, the enemy surprised us. Only two Shahed drones broke through due to stormy weather, which was not favorable for their use," added Humeniuk.
