Ukrainian forces eliminate 76 Russian soldiers, capture 3 in Tavria direction

Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, reported the information.

"Artillery units of the Tavria Defense Forces performed 1,328 firing missions over the last day. In that period, enemy losses amounted to 249 people (76 irreversible, 170 injured and 3 captured)," the statement said.

In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed 20 units of Russian military equipment. In particular, 1 tank, 2 armored personnel carriers, 5 artillery systems and mortars, 1 ATGM, 1 UAV, 10 vehicles and one special equipment. Two enemy ammunition depots were also destroyed.

Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times and carried out 688 attacks, inflicting 19 air strikes.

• The Russian army attempted to land in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Instead, the Ukrainian Navy destroyed a Russian KC-701 boat and eliminated 6 soldiers.
