Ukrainian fighters prevent Russian forces from breaking through Ukrainian lines of defense 

The 10th Mountain Assault Brigade shared the video on Facebook, Espreso.West reports.

Russian forces were stopped by the joint efforts of two battalions of Kolomyia "lEdelweiss.

"We want to show you the joint work of the 108th Detached Mountain Assault Battalion and the 109th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion, which stopped the enemy while trying to break through our defenses," the video caption reads.

Reference. The 10th Detached Mountain Assault Brigade is a military unit of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, based in Kolomyia. The brigade was formed in the city of Bila Tserkva on October 1, 2015.

The main purpose of the brigade is to conduct combat operations in mountainous and forested areas.
