Ukrainian fighter pilot and Order For Courage cavalier Denys Kyryliuk killed on combat mission
On March 28, Ukrainian pilot Denys Kyryliuk, who had made more than 80 combat flights, was killed while performing a mission
This was reported by the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade on Facebook.
"The deputy squadron commander, air squadron navigator Major Denys Kyryliuk, was killed while performing a combat mission. He was a fighter pilot of the Ukrainian Air Force who conducted more than 80 combat flights, including 70 during a full-scale invasion to destroy the enemy," his comrades-in-arms said in a post.
Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Myrhorod District Military Administration, said that Kyryliuk died on March 28.
"In August 2022, Denys Kyryliuk was awarded the Order For Courage, III degree, for personal courage and selfless actions in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath," the official said.
