Ukrainian fighter eliminates Russian marines assault squad commander

Nazarii Kishak, ex-adviser to the Ivano-Frankivsk mayor, a machine gun platoon commander of the 72nd brigade announced this on Facebook, Espreso reports.

"We are all celebrating the liberation of Kherson, the striking defeat of the occupier in the Izium direction, but the front line is huge and fierce battles are currently going on in the eastern part of the country. One of the hottest directions today is Vuhledar. Ukrainian defenders fight for every piece of Ukrainian land. The enemy launches offensives, advancing and occupying new settlements. In order to prevent the occupier from advancing deep into the country and get them out of the occupied territories, our unit carried out assault operations near Vuhledar," Kishak noted.

According to him, in the course of assault operations in the Vuhledar direction, fighters of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade destroyed a large number of enemy infantry. The chief sergeant of the machine gun platoon Oleh Koilyak eliminated the commander of the assault squad of the 155th Separate Guards Marine Corps of the Russian Federation.

"This awaits anyone who sets foot on Ukrainian soil. Glory to Ukraine!", the commander emphasized.
