Ukrainian forces eliminate over 1,100 Russian soldiers in 24 hrs - General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces states in its daily report.

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from February 24, 2022 to November 11, 2023 are estimated to be:

• personnel - about 310,650 (+1130) people
• tanks - 5,342 (+25) 
• armored combat vehicles - 10,041 (+24) 
• artillery systems - 7,527 (+38)
• MLRS - 879 (+2)
• air defense systems - 579 (+1) 
• aircraft - 322 (+0) 
• helicopters - 324 (+0) 
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 5,620 (+25)
• cruise missiles - 1,559 (+1)
• ships/boats - 22 (+2) 
• submarines - 1 (+0) 
• motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 9,925 (+49)

Situation at the front: Russian troops tried to attack in 5 key areas, Ukrainian army repelled a number of Russian attacks

According to the General Staff, near the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting  sabotage activities in the border areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, the Russian army, supported by air, conducted assault operations in 3 areas of Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 8 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian troops, with the support of aviation, carried out assaults near 3 localities in the Luhansk region, but they had no success.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukraine's troops repelled 16 Russia's attacks near 3 settlements in the Donetsk region. In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russia enemy, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka using air dominance. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line and inflicting significant losses on the Russian enemy. Thus, Ukrainian defenders repelled 35 attacks in 6 settlements in Donetsk region.

In the Marinka direction, the invading Russian army, with the support of aviation, launched assaults in the areas of Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the Ukrainian forces repelled 18 Russian attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian troops, supported by aviation, unsuccessfully attacked near Staromayorske, Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russia launched an assault near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region, but failed.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Ukraine's soldiers conduct counter-battery combat, inflicting fire on Russia's rear.

Russian army launched strike drones and missiles at Ukraine overnight

In total, Russia launched 5 missile and 83 air strikes, fired 102 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Russia also attacked Ukraine once again, using 2 Kh-59 guided missiles, an Oniks anti-ship missile, an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, a Kh-31 guided missile, and 31 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.

Air defense destroyed one Kh-59 missile and 19 attack UAVs. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings, port infrastructure, road transport and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

2 settlements in Kharkiv region; 2 in Luhansk region; 14 in Donetsk region; 1 in Zaporizhzhia region; 2 in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

More than 110 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian forces strike at 15 Russian personnel concentration points

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 11 strikes on the areas of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration.

Missile troops destroyed 8 artillery units, a command post, 4 areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration, an air defense facility, an ammunition depot and 4 Russian electronic warfare stations.

• On the evening of Friday, November 10, Russian terrorists launched attack UAVs to shell Ukraine. Drones targeting Kyiv were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces.
