Ukrainian border guards have stopped two Russian assault groups from breaking through in Bakhmut
Ukraine's State Border Guard Service reported that on Tuesday, March 14, border units stopped two enemy assault groups from breaking through. The Russian forces attacked one of the Ukrainian troops' strongholds during the day, and the other in the first half of the night. The skirmishes lasted for several hours, but eventually the Wagner mercenaries retreated.
Border guards mortar launchers hit several groups of enemy infantry concentrated near the contact line. And border guards snipers eliminated three invaders who were deploying a machine gun at the position.
“In total, during the day of combat work, border guards neutralized 21 Russian soldiers, 5 of whom were killed and 16 wounded,” the State Border Guard Service added.
