The State Border Guard Service reported the information.
The prisoner turned out to be a serviceman of Russia’s 40th Separate Marine Brigade. According to his testimony, he got lost and accidentally stumbled upon the positions of Ukrainian border guards.
It was revealed that less than a month ago, the captive had signed a one-year contract with the Russian army in exchange for a promised 3 million rubles. However, he said he never received the money.
Russian soldier was immediately sent to storm Ukrainian positions — an assault that ended relatively well for him, unlike for the rest of the invaders involved.
- On July 9, it was reported that Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade forced the occupying Russian soldiers to surrender using drones and ground robotic systems.
