Ukrainian border guard service denies information on construction of camps for Wagner PMC in Belarus
SBGS spokesman Andriy Demchenko said that the Border Guard Service did not record the construction of Wagner PMC military bases in Belarus

He said this in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda.
"Regarding the information about the possible construction of bases for Russian mercenaries in Belarus, we have not recorded any such work at the moment," he said.
Nevertheless, Demchenko stressed that possible construction cannot be ruled out, as the situation in the country is being monitored by intelligence and the State Border Guard Service. According to the spokesperson, no Wagner troops have been seen in Belarus, and about 2,000 Russian troops are currently in the country for exercises.
- On Monday, 26 June, the Russian media Vörstka reported that construction of bases for 8,000 Wagner soldiers had begun in Belarus in the village of Osipovichi, 200 km from the border with Ukraine.
